Bruce  Elden Kemp - b.1951-01-22 d.2021-03-01Bruce Elden Kemp, born in Union City, OH, passed away on March 1, 2021, at his home in Floyd County, VA. He is preceded in death by his mother Edith Passmore and brother Rudy Kemp. Bruce is survived by his son Nathan and wife Natalie, his daughters Bethany Aguirre and husband Jesus, Hannah Larson and husband Rafe, and Rachael Kemp, along with grandchildren Abigail, Eli, and Isabella Kemp, Armando and Mari Aguirre, and Eliana, Aria, Zoey, and Zachary Larson. He loved animals, especially his ducks, chickens, and dog Linny. Bruce was a lifelong learner and educator, storyteller, musician, Civil Air Patrol Lt. and was fascinated with everything. Bruce was a kind and loving person with a generous nature and will be missed by his family, friends, and colleagues. A casual service celebrating Bruce’s life will be held March 7 at 3 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home 202 E. Oxford St. Floyd, VA with visitation at 2 pm.
