“Tommy” Harold Thomas Miller

January 28, 1958 - November 02, 2019

On Saturday, November 2, Tommy (Harold Thomas Miller) eagerly left the house to go hunting with his buddies. We can only imagine the excitement when he took the shot and headed down to find his deer. Sadly for us, but joyfully for him, it was at that moment that God called him home. Tommy will be deeply missed by his wife, Angie; his daughter & son-in-law, April-Dawn & John Jones his beautiful grandchildren, Bridgette Poff, Emmaleigh Jones & Parker Jones, his sister & brother-in-law, Glenna & Pete Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny & Lesa Miller and George & Lori Miller; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law (Pam & Lee Hinkle; Rick & Peggy Huff; Bobby & Amy Huff) and mother and step-father-in law, Marlene & Cecil Compton. As well as several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. Tommy is the son of Ophelia & Junior Miller (deceased). Tommy was a member of The Little White Church for many years. He loved hunting, playing bluegrass music and ran Miller’s Gun Shop until May of this year. He was only 61 years of age (1-28-1958 to 11-2-2019) but it’s not the number of years in life but the life in your years. Tommy put a lot of life in those years and was very thankful to God for all of his blessings! There will be a visitation on Saturday November 9, 2019 from 12 noon to 2pm with a funeral service to follow at 2pm at Gardner funeral home.

Sad day for family and friends, I will cherish the conversations we had at the gun shop and the fun doing the fast draw with you and I will never forget that grin, Rest in Peace Brother.

Words are hard to come by in this sorrow time, but I know Tommy always was smiling when I would go by Miller Gun Shop and a very nice guy and always very helpful and I know he will be missed by all and the saying is gone but not forgotten and that's so true for he will never be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to Tommy's family and friends. Very shocking! The last time I spoke with Tommy was just before he auctioned the gun shop, and he told me the reason why he was doing it. At that time I told him that I'll keep the family in prayer. I continue to do so to this day and for as long as I'm still alive. God speed my friend, hope to see ya on the other side one day.
