Charles Joseph “Butch” Italiano Jr.,age 69, beloved father , grandfather and devoted husband, passed away Monday, March 07, 2011. He served in the army as an MP then continued for 20 more years as a policeman for Prince George's County, MD. Retiring in 1984. Mr. Italiano was a member of American Legion Post #127, Fraternity Order of Police #21 and an honorary member of Fraternity Order of Police Lodge #89 in Prince Georges County, MD. Preceded in death by father and mother, Charles Joseph Sr. and Margaret Italiano; brother, Harry R. Italiano. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Zelda M. Italiano; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles J. and Angela G. Italiano, Joseph M, and Jackie J. Italiano; grandchildren, Clara, Jenna, Camden, Alexis, and Emily Italiano, Jacob and Samuel Delp; brother-in-law Fred A. Linkous; special friend Victor Lopez.. A memorial Service will be Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at The Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren. Reverend Roy Turpin officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be offered to Indian Valley Rescue Squad or Willis Fire Department. Zelda, Mom and I can't express enough how sorry we are for the loss you and your family are feeling. Butch was a good man and it will be sorely missed, not just by your family but by the entire community. We love you all and want you to know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Zelda: So sorry to read of your husbands passing. Bob and I met you at the Willis El. School. You were teaching computer. It was our introduction to the computer. You also came to our home. Butch was a young man. You are fortunate to have family members nearby. Bob passed away 3 yrs ago. You will have many wonderful memories, as I have. Doris Roberts

Dear sweet Zelda and family, words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. You two were such a great couple and wonderful friends to have, I know your heart is breaking and mine breaks for you. You are such special folks to me! I remember the day we all met, when the boys came to the school and I gave you all a tour. You all made such an impression on me that I wanted to marry and have the loving close knit family that you have and I sure got it! My heart is filled with much love for you and your family.
