Julian Hall Rutrough

May 20, 1920 - March 19, 2011

Julian Hall Rutrough, age 90, of Copper Hill passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011. Mr. Rutrough served three and a half years in the Army Air Corp, with duty in the China-Burma theatre. He returned home to work on the family farm and as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Pency Rutrough; daughter, Judy Ann Cox and two brothers Hugh and James Rutrough. Mr. Rutrough is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eveleen Rutrough; one son, Eddie Rutrough; and two grandchildren Brian Cox and Kaitlynn Rutrough. Friends may call between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Head of the River Church with the Elder Carl Terry and Elder Larry Hollingsworth officiating.
