Carla Yvonne Nunley, 55, of Riner, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Richard Nunley; son and wife, Michael Rakes and Rose; son and friend, Simon Thomas and Jennifer Ferris; one step-daughter and husband, Jennifer and Michael Weeks; six grandchildren; brothers and sisters and spouses, Sandra K Newman-Carr and Reid, A. Russell Newman and Linda, Norris Wayne Newman and Vickie, Tony Curtis Newman, and Kenneth Ray Newman and Louise; a special friend, Angela Bishop Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Roy Turpin officiating.Interment will follow at Restvale Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday after 1 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Floyd County Rescue Squad, P.O. Dear Cousins, I am so sorry to hear about Carla's passing. I know what it's like to lose a sibling. We lost Debbie 2 years ago this same month. God bless you and be with you during this time of mourning. Love you guys. Delane
