Robert Sigurd Backlund " Boston Bob"

September 30, 1944 - November 29, 2023

Robert Sigurd Backlund “Boston Bob”, 79, of Floyd passed comfortably at home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday November 29,2023.

Bob loved working on heavy equipment and his farm. He could always be found in his happy place, his garage.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Backlund; daughter, Bonnie Backlund Roderick (Richard Costa); son, Eric A Backlund (Linda Williams); granddaughters, Rachel, Danielle, Patricia, Lillian, and Megan; along with four great grandchildren; along with many business associates and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
