Rest in the assurance that God has promised peace in death. Roger was and will always be an inspiration to our family. Loved Jesus with his whole heart, looked to Him in all things. You are missed by many. Isaiah 57:1-2 - 2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

Please know that my prayers are with you as you go through this time of mourning. Although we don't mourn as those who have no hope - we still mourn the loss of such a special man and Christian brother. I loved Roger dearly and as his pastor in Bennett, CO - was able to minister alongside him for years watching him pour into others even as he dealt with loss of his own. I'm so looking forward to seeing him again as we worship together bringing glory to our Creator. Not goodbye forever - but rather we'll see you soon. May the peace of the Spirit of God bring you comfort and may the sorrow be soon replaced with sweet memories and joyful anticipation of reunion.

Another of my FHS class of '57 gone. And this one a wonderful friend from long ago. We visited Roger in Colorado many years ago and they gave us such a great tour of the mountains and small towns around the area. So sad that time and distance never allowed us to see each other again. Our sympathies to all his remaining loved ones.

Just saw this on the internet. Roger was our next door neighbor. May God Bless and Comfort his family. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I'm sure George did a great job with the service.
