Denise (Dee) Ewell Pierce

January 17, 1958 - November 24, 2024

Denise (Dee) Ewell Pierce, 66, of Pilot, passed from this world suddenly on Sunday November 24. 2024. 

Loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend to many, her exuberant personality and caring kindness will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her. 

She loved her family, friends and pets. She enjoyed reading and scrapbooking, and found strength in her many church and volunteer activities. 

She is survived by her husband, Graham, and many other friends and relatives who were blessed to know her. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheyenne, and her parents, Kathryn (Kassy) and James Ewell. 

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Huffville United Methodist Church, Pilot VA, or support a cause of your choice.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dee's passing. She was always a kind, gentle person.

Dee was a couple years older than me But I remember many happy conversations with her. I adored her parents and often went into their store, just to chitchat with them. I remember Dee‘s grandfather very well. D was one of the sweetest people I knew she never had a crossword to say about anyone. She was always kind and always had a smile and an encouraging word. I know she will be sadly missed by many. I know she’s resting in the arms of Jesus and I know that she’s happy to be reunited with her daughter and her parents.

My beautiful friend, you will be missed by many. You always had a smile and a kind word for all you met.

Dee, was the reason I first came to Huffville Church, a good friend and a great Christian, God must really need her. SAD BECAUSE WE DID TOO Love you Dee God's Speed Graham praying for you healing

So thankful to have known Dee through Operation Christmas Child. Even tho it was brief acquaintance, it was a most pleasant and memorable one.

Dee was such a sweet lady I knew her in school her mom an dad owned a little shop by the school and some would go there for a hotdog or sandwiches at lunch!!! Gone to soon may God touch her family an friends to guide them through at this time!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am so grieved at Dee’s passing. She was such an encouragement to me with the OCC ministry. Praying God’s blessing of peace and comfort to her family.
