Marie Boyd Goad, 90, of Floyd, Went to be with the lord on Wednesday December 11, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sister.
Marie is survived by her husband of 70 years, Clyde A. Goad; sons, Kenneth Goad, Timothy Goad, Cody Goad; daughter, Lisa Goad; two brothers, Edward Boyd (Anne), Roger Lee Boyd (Polly).
Funeral Service will be held on Friday December 13,2024 at 12 Noon at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Jake Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Skyline Health and Rehab.

My sweet Aunt Marie, you were were one of my favorite Aunts, I loved to visit your house and see all the things you had made out of rocks , wood , Indian corn, guards and fabric. You were always good to me, I will cherish the memories I have of you.may you rest in Heavenly peace.

Aunt Marie ..always a smile on your face always with a loving hand to help others ..was never about you you always put others first..that's who you are ..you will always live with in my heart I will never forget you..missing your calls and our chats ..but I still speak to you through my heart and I know you can hear me .. One of the best Aunts a girl could ever ask for.. Gone but never forgotten someday soon we all will get to meet again ..I will go on living for you I will breath air for you and see for you and hear for you because I know that's what you want for your loved ones is for us to go on living for you Love You Always..
