Rachel Mae Hodges

September 07, 1936 - January 22, 2025

Rachel Mae Hodges, 88, of Floyd, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 22, 2025. She lived a simple life; she loved nature especially hummingbirds. She loved spending time with her family, especially the bond that she had with her grandson. She was preceded in death by her son: Michael Gray Hodges. She is survived by her daughter: Traci Pinto (Joseph); Grandson: Dakota Wyatt Pinto (Lindsey); Great grandson: Wyatt Dawson Pinto; special cousin: Vicki Hayes, and a very special person in her life: Bill Dotson. A private service will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend special thanks to Lindsey and Carilion Hospice for their extra care and love for Mrs. Hodges.

Rachel was a dear friend. Always enjoyed the time we spent together. She was beautiful inside and out. Rachel loved her family so very much. Prayers to all. Janet

Keeping all of you in my prayers. She was a friend to my mom years ago and I know she will be missed. It's very hard to lose our mother.
