Linda Jean Schwartz, 73, of Floyd passed away on March 8, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Bill Schwartz; Loving mother of, Jennifer Kaufman (Mark), Amy Blair (Daniel); Siblings, David W. Ketelsen (Janee), Rachel A. Hackett (Eric); Grandchildren, Ethan Kaufman, Ellie Kaufman, Jesse Tanner, Sara Tanner, Katherine Isch, Erica McCooey; and many great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 1450 Floyd Hwy S, Floyd Va., 24091, on Saturday April 19, 2025, at 2PM. Linda and I haven't seen much of each other last 20+ years, as she moved from our area, but we share a lifetime of great memories. We grew up together from about 8 into our early 20s. Just thinking about our escapades together makes me laugh! Reading what others had said about Linda being kind and thoughtful is so true - it was in her nature even as a youngster. Thru thick and thin Linda was a loyal friend. I am glad Linda was part of my life and we became good friends. Though Linda is not here at the moment, she is alive to me in my memories.
