Glenn Elmer Hall

Glenn Elmer Hall, 85, of Floyd, Passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on January 6, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Bernice Hall; brother, Martin “Marty” Hall; sister, Betty Sue Harris; wife, June Hall.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Turner; grandchildren, Adriana Turner, Brandon Turner; along with numerous nephews and a niece.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Skyline nursing home for the exceptional care that they gave to Glenn while he was at their facilities. Also thank you to Carilion Clinic Hospice.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2pm, at Gardner Funeral Home, with pastor Roy Turpin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. 

We are deeply sorry for your loss

I knew Glenn from our visits at the nursing home. He was across the hall from my mother-in-law. From the first time we met he struck me as a kind and gracious soul. I enjoyed our talks mostly about football and weather! I know he will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family.
