Reba Nester Ratliff

Reba Nester Ratliff, 87, of Floyd, Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026.

She was born on November 18, 1938. Reba was the daughter of the late Luther Wyatt Nester and Rosa Newman Nester. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willard Lewis Ratliff; her brothers, Melton Nester and Jay Nester.

Reba is survived by her son, Mark Ratliff (Kay); her grandchildren, Jackie Griffith (Devin), Cole Ratliff (Sidney Shaffer), Shane Ratliff (Courtney Whitt), Cody Beran (Destiny) and Allie Beran (Aiden Boyd); her great-grandchildren, Maizlee Ratliff, Ares Beran, Wyatt Griffith and Kolter Ratliff.

Reba was a loving, caring, giving and hardworking lady. She enjoyed spending time with her family, neighbors & friends. Reba had a spirited personality that touched everyone she came in contact with. She was very well loved by many and will be missed.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Topeco Church Cemetery at 1pm with Pastor Roy Turpin officiating.

Reba was a precious,caring Aunt.She wanted updates on everyone when we talked. I treasured our visits, phone calls.She always said "Tell everyone that I love them". I will miss her so much!

Reba was such a beautiful lady! I remember her when she and her husband came to Red Oak Grove to church.

Mark & Family, we were so surprised to hear that Reba passed as we had visited her at the hospital a few days before. She was so spunky and funny and we loved her so much. I sent her goodies to the nursing home every month since we couldn't visit often but we talked every week on the phone. We'll miss her a lot. You have our sympathy.
