Timothy Dale "T.T." Pratt

October 03, 1967 - September 07, 2026

Timothy Dale Pratt, lovingly known at T.T., 58 of Check, VA, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Monday September 7, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents: Shirley “Dale” Pratt and Sandra Vest Pratt Tischler; His paternal grandparents: Shirley and Lydia Pratt; his maternal grandparents: Berkley and Margaret Vest; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Left to cherish his memory are his sister: Sharon Pratt Miller and husband Gregory; his brother: Jeffrey “ Dean” Pratt and wife Crystal; nieces and nephews: Phillip Stuart, India Eanes (Ethan), Michaela Newland (Zachary), Nathan Pratt (Tiffany), Jonathan Miller (Fuan) and Kerrie Quick (Caleb); great nieces and nephews: Landen Stuart, Ezekiel and Eliza Eanes, Maverick and Emory Newland, Lily Carter, Luna and Kazelynn Pratt, Amelia Nichols, Zayden, Scarlett, and Zaxton Leming, and Natalie Quick. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; honorary great niece and nephew: Breanna Huffman and Raylan Bolt, as well as many friends at Ruan where he was employed as a truck driver. Tim was a selfless man, always putting others before himself and was there to lend a helping hand. He was a simple man who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be Saturday September 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Pratt officiating. Interment will follow in Pratt Cemetery. The family receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Gardner Funeral Home.  

So long buddy, gonna miss our chats in the drivers lounge. Hope you are enjoying a good fishing spot and relaxing.

You were always the sweetest man. I always knew I’d get a friendly smile when we came to visit everyone at Granny Vest’s. I met you thru Reg when we were still kids around 15, I think. You, Sharon and Dean have always been a special part of our hearts. Give Reggie a big HEY, we miss you. You guys get caught up talking next to that crystal river. Until we all meet again, (((((0)))))

So sorry to hear this actually shocked. He was a great friend to me and one heck uva good truck driver just like his dad Dale. I worked with both of them trucking. Prayers to all his family and friends. I hope to see you on the other side driver ❤️
