Dear Sowers Family: Please accept my deepest sympathy to all of you in the loss of Tom. I am a great-niece of Imogene’s and I have fond memories growing up around Tom and Imogene. My parents, E.V. and Nancy Roop, enjoyed their company and thought the world of both of them. Tom has had an incredibly difficult journey these many months but we can rejoice that the Lord has finally called him to his heavenly home where he is reunited with loved ones that have gone before and is free of his earthly sickness and pain. Thank you for including the picture of Tom in his obituary; it is exactly how I remember him, and will remember him that way always. I pray for God’s grace and comfort to you all during this time, and may all of your wonderful memories help sustain you throughout the difficult days ahead. Tom was a good man, one of the very best, and he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, church family, and the community of Floyd.
