I am stunned and saddened to read of Loretta's passing. She was such a special lady and we had traveled to some musical events together over the years. One trip to Rocky Mount and another to the Galax Fiddlers Convention a few years back. She was such a unique and wonderful lady. She will be greatly missed. Dearest Patty, We were so very saddened to hear of Mom's passing. She was such a fierce lioness protecting her cub while you were growing up and I know for over 20 years now, the roles were reserved, and you became her protector. She dearly loved you and for anyone who knows you, you deeply loved her. Her soul is at peace and now her body is without pain.
