Joan Elaine Shive, age 51, of Willis, passed away October 18, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Scott Shive; children and spouses, Erin and Adam Harman, Matthew and Tory Shive; three grandchildren, Liam Shive, Jonah Harman and Brayden Shive; mother, Shirley Subin; father, Robert Legg; brother, Steve Legg; father and mother-in-law, Dick and Lorie Shive . Scott, Erin, Matt I am so sorry for your lost. Joan was a lovely person.

To Joan's family, My husband and I meet Joan for the first time in 1997 when she was a Home Care Nurse for Esta Martin, Ernest's late Mother. She was in our home, recovering from open heart surgery and Joan did an excellent job of caring for her. I also experienced the loving care she gave to Dewey Reed and Clarice Tuner while I was caregiver in their homes. Floyd has lost a great Nurse. May God wrap His loving arms of comfort around you all.
