Lena Mae Goad Nolen, 86, of Floyd, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Nolen. Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law, Brenda Atkins, Betty Nolen and Lakewood Cox; two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Wanda Nolen, Michael Nolen and special friend, Joyce; four grandsons and spouses, Scotty and Sylvia Atkins, Jamie and Wendy Atkins; Nick Nolen , Wes Nolen; two step-grandchildren and spouses, Regina and Andrew Webb, Justin and Angela Cox; great-grandchildren, Shawn Atkins, Haley Atkins, Brady Atkins, Evan Atkins, Reese Nolen, Jaxon Nolen; step-great-grandsons, Cole Webb, Caleb Webb; brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Marie Goad; special friends, Fern Nolen, Lucille Nolen; Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Gardner Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Mike Bowman and the Reverend Murray Agee officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery.
