Hildegard Maltida Busenthür Clemmons, 79, of Martinsville, formerly of Check, VA passed away Monday, December 14, 2009. She was born in Koblenz, Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen B. Clemmons; parents, Lubenz and Maria Antrizick Busenthür; brothers, Lubenz Busenthür, Jr; Karl Hienz Busenthür. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Mark A. Clemmons, of Martinsville, Oron L. and Sherry Clemmons, Salem; sisters, Elizabeth Simang, Anna Maria Shultz, both of Koblenz, Germany; cousin, Anneliese and Hassel Norris, McLeansville, NC; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Gardner Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Butcher and Rev. Katy Amos officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
