John Wayne Hajek

John Wayne Hajek, 31, of Floyd passed away on August 16, 2015. He is survived by his sons John Wayne Hajek II and Aiden Lane Hajek, father Dave Hajek, brother James Hajek, parental grand parents Ernest and Annie Mae Hajek and numerous cousins. He is predeceased by his mother Teresa Hajek (née Holman) and maternal grandparents Richard and Barbara Holman. His giving of himself, passion in his work, and his willingness to lend a hand whenever, wherever, and for whatever reason are legacies for his sons to learn and honor. He will be seen through the eyes of his sons and will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends and coworkers. Visitation is on Sunday, August 23 from noon until 3 pm at Gardner Funeral Home in Floyd Virginia. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home and will be conducted by Reverend Joe Womack. The family is being served by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd, VA, 540-745-2007.
