Donald Davis McGuyer, 66, of Christiansburg, VA, Passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on May 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert Mosby & Iva Olivia McGuyer, Brother, Robert McGuyer Jr., and Sister, Jackie Hall. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Brenda McGuyer, Son, Timothy McGuyer, daughter, Tammy McGuyer, Grandsons, Jordan, Logan, Curtis, Great Grandson, Justin, Sisters, Patsy Sowers (Alvin Sanders), Betty(Harry) Hayes, Linda (George) Moran, Special Brother-in-laws, Gary Ford, Roger Ford, Wesley Sowers, Special Sister-in-laws, Joyce Phillips, Ruth Akers, Special Cousins, Judy(Ronnie) Allen, Rodney(Fuzzy) McGuyer, and several nieces and nephews, and his loyal companions Wiggle,Zoe and Kricket. Graveside services to be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Turman-Cruise Cemetery in Willis, Va. with Pastor Stephen Dice Officiating. My condolences to the family at this time of loss. May you be comforted by God's promise of resurrection as spoken of by Jesus at John 5:28-29. What a wonderful time it will be when our precious loved ones resting in God's memory are restored to life again. Reflect often on all your happy memories and hold close all the promises of God.
