Donna Joann Reed Hayden

January 15, 1949 - December 29, 2016

Donna Joann Reed Hayden went to her heavenly home Dec. 29, 2016. She was born in Christiansburg to the late Charlie G. and Ora Lester Reed on January 15, 1949. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law: Charles Eugene Reed and Joyce Lester Reed, sister: June Reed Simpkins. Donna is survived by her husband and soul-mate of 25 years: Bobby Hayden, her beloved son: Jimmy Daugherty, Jr of Radford, one much loved sister and two brothers-in-law: Joyce and Lonnie Slaughter of Floyd and Quinton Simpkins of Christiansburg, three stepchildren: Barbie (Brian) Dobbins of Pulaski, Barry (Emily) Hayden of Powhatan and Scotty (Hollie) Hayden of Radford, three step grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Beloved pets are Abby, Mia and LT. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday January 5, 2017 at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Turpin and Pastor Frank Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, VA. There will be a visitation from 11-1 Thursday prior to the funeral service at Gardner Funeral Home. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to Medical Charities of Floyd Co. 100 E Main St Ste 108 Floyd, VA 24091. Donna was much loved by everyone that had the opportunity to meet her. She was gracious and kind to all. She loved her family and especially her dear husband Bobby and their fur babies. She will be missed by all.
