Clara Belle Fox

Clara Belle Fox “Polly” “Granny Fox” entered the gates of Heaven the morning of February 26, 2017.Clara was often known as “Sweet Mrs. Fox”. She was loved by her family and friends. She was a good Christian lady and attended New Haven Baptist Church for as long as she could. Clara was reunited with her husband: Elwood Fox; parents: Martin and Willie Romage; and siblings: Eugene, Bobby, Ruby, Edna, and Gladys. Clara is survived by her daughter: Sandra Avancini; son: Richard Fox (Kim); siblings: Ruth Suzza, Ralph Romage, Patty Tankersley, Roger Romage; grandkids: William(Heather), Lewis (Ry), Gina(Sean), Thomas(Kim), Kasey(Matt); great-grandkids: Brittany, Shawnee, Kayla, Haley, Ryleigh, Leah, Mya, Sydney, Josiah, April, Ava, Kolden, Kaleb, Bentley; and four great-great grandkids. We will miss her greatly, but it brings us great joy to know she is in heaven and no longer suffering. Memorial service will be held Tuesday February 28, 2017 at 4PM at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Leon Wood officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at Gardner Funeral Home.

Clara was a really nice person. I as a manager at the apartments she lived at, truly enjoyed having her as a tenant. She was always friendly. We will all miss her at Pine Ridge. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family.
