Larry was a good man. I worked with him for years when I worked at S & S Paving. He was kinda quiet but fun to be around and I thought a lot of him. A highly respected man who I enjoyed working with and being around him. Larry was well liked by everyone. He and the Stuart guys were like brothers. This is sad but God is with you during this time. Just reach out and draw your strength from the Lord. Larry will be greatly missed. He was a special person. One of a kind. We love you Larry...

We are deeply saddened to hear about Larry. We met him several years ago at one of the places where a group of us would meet to dance every week. It seemed like no matter where we were we would run into Larry. It was always a pleasure to see him and talk with him. He will be missed. Joe and Paulette

To Larry's Family and loved ones, I have read all the messages left by the many who loved this precious person, and I think every good and kind word in the dictionary has been used to describe Larry's character. I have never known a man so kind, so genuine and always with the same sweet smile. Larry, the gentle one. He gave my sister (and me) many, many times of the best and most fond memories. Our hearts are broken for this loss. Its hard to imagine carrying on and not seeing Larry somewhere in the midst, but he will be in our hearts and memories forever. My prayers are with each of Larry's family and all those who loved him, for your sadness and great loss. May the Lord heal your broken hearts.

To Larry's family, I send my heartfelt love & sympathy upon hearing this sad news. I have known Larry for many years & always thought him to be one of the nicest, kindest & sweetest men ever, and also a great dancer! We danced many times at Roanoke events & at Cattle Annie's in Lynchburg a few years ago with several friends(celebrating my birthday). I shall miss him terribly as I know you will. May God bless you and sustain you and know that HE will bring you Peace & Understanding as only HE can do. My love & prayers. Anne Koon

I only met Larry a few months ago at a concert. Watching him dance attracted my attention, then his blue eyes. I was blessed to have known him and to dance with him at several different concerts through the summer. I will be searching the crowds forever more looking for him in the crowd. He helped make it one of my best summers ever. My heartfelt sympathy to his family. You will be in my prayers. He was loved by all.
