Oh Debbie, and family, what an awful shock to learn of your Kala passing. I only met her as a young, softball playing girl some years back when you came by my home while doing your loan business duties. Kala was a charmer and you were a fine picture of Mother & Daughter. The smiles between you both showed your pride in her and her love for you. I read the news when I picked up a copy of The Floyd Press around two P.M. Friday. Mr. Roop had told me a few minutes earlier, as we spoke by telephone. But had I known in time, I certainly would have paid my respects. Your loss is one of the most difficult any one could go through. My thoughts and prayers are with you Debbie, and with all who have had to say goodbye to Kala far too soon. May the strength of Family hold you and comfort you in this horrible time of grief. I am so sorry.
