Charles E. Poff, Jr., age 64, of Copper Hill, VA, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday June 14, 2017. He was born in Elkton Md. on January 20, 1953. He was a great husband and father, and was well liked by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Patricia Poff; His son Chris Poff & wife Diane; His mother, Ruth Poff; brothers: Ronnie Poff, Kenny Poff & spouse Chrissy; Sisters: Rita Eanes & spouse Gerald, Kathy Poff, Lesha Bell & spouse Terry; Nephews: Terry Poff, Adam Poff, Travis Eanes & spouses, Joey Bell, T. K. Walters; Niece: Kesha Poff; brothers-in-law: David Witman and Bob Witman, many cousins and special friends. A Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday June 24, 2017 at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Whitlock officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2PM before service time. Following the service, a dinner will be provided at the Park Ridge Development Clubhouse, Copper Hill, VA. Sometimes it is so hard to say what is on our hearts , so I will say this about Charlie. he was a man of integrity and at times so much wisdom. he always accepted me as his daughter in law and a friend.he was always there for his son chris and will truly be missed by us all. he always enjoyed the Christmas dinners we would have. when my grandchildren were small he always enjoyed watching them open their Christmas presents. the times we would go to the Hillsville flee market. too many memories to put on paper so I will leave it with this, we love you Charlie and save us a place in heaven. be seeing you soon
