Isaac Flemon Janney, of Floyd, Passed away on May 1, 2018. He was born on April 1, 1936 to Rob and Jewel Janney, Proceeded in death by son Kenneth Janney and daughter Diane Janney. Survived by wife of 58 years Myrum West Janney, daughter Janet Thomas and husband David, sons Ralph Janney and wife Stacy, Russell Janney and wife Sheila, grandsons Adam Thomas and wife Tempry, Brian Thomas, great-granddaughter Raylyn Thomas, sisters Mary Lumsden and husband Newton, Minnie West, and Robertine Thomas, brothers James Janney and wife Doris, C.T. Janney and a host of nieces, nephews, special friend Lottie Radford and a Thank you to caregivers Carol, Bethany, Debbie and Christian. He served as trustee of Vest Cemetery for many years. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Vest Cemetery 643 Cypress Dr. Floyd VA. 24091. Funeral service will be Friday May 4, 2018 at Gardner Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joseph Ashby and Pastor Roy Turpin officiating interment to follow in Vest Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8:00 PM, friends may call after 12:00 PM.
