James Cary Prillaman Jr.

May 30, 1938 - February 12, 2019

James Cary Prillaman Jr., 80, of Roanoke county passed away Tuesday February 12, 2019. He was the son of the late James Cary and Ethel Prillaman and was preceded in death by his son-in-law; Timothy Chisom, brothers; William A. Prillaman, Saunders Prillaman, sister; Juanita Powell. James is survived by his wife of 56 years; Gloria Dean Nolen Prillaman, and his beloved daughter; Loretta Chisom, brother; Edwin Prillaman and wife Margie. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday February 16, 2019 at Gardner Funeral Home at 1pm with pastor Jeff Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery. There will be a visitation one hour prior to funeral services at the funeral home. A special thank you to Dr. Robert C. Patten Jr, nurses Kay and Wendy, Dr. David Trinkle and Good Samaritan Hospice.
