Ronald Dale “Fred” Moran, 61, of Check, VA passed away Wednesday June 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents; Nelson and Tempsy Moran. Survived by one daughter; Maggie Rose Moran, bonus daughter; Cassie Compton Brown (David), one brother; Stan Moran, nephew; Stacy Moran, aunt; Lucy Harris, along with numerous cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday June 15, 2019 at 3pm at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery, Tuggles Gap. Family will receive friends from 1pm-3pm on Saturday June 15, 2019 at Gardner Funeral Home. The family is being served by Gardner Funeral Home.

Fond Memories of Fred from shooting pool at Rays to cooking pig at Tubb-Run. A great friend with a big heart.
