Henry Clyde Akers

August 19, 1949 - June 16, 2019

Henry Clyde Akers, 69, of Floyd, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday June 16, 2019. Henry is preceded in death by his parents; George W. Akers, Tymanda Emaline Akers, along with several brothers and sisters; Robertene Clemons, Betty Rierson, George Akers, Greenberry Akers, Noah Akers, Russell Akers. He is survived by sisters; Mary Alice Akers (Cliff), Linda Faye Duncan (James), special friends; Shirley Winingham, Rhonda Gilbert, along with several nieces and nephews. A Grave Side Service will be held on Wednesday June 19, 2019 at Callaway Community Cemetery at 11am with Rev. Ronald Smith officiating. Friends may call after 5pm on Tuesday June 18, 2019 at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be from 5pm-7pm.
