William Calvin "Bill" DeWeese

William Calvin (Bill) DeWeese, 87, of Bent Mountain, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Curtis DeWeese and Sally Mills DeWeese, and one brother, Nelson DeWeese. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Cleo Sisson DeWeese; three children, Donald Nelson DeWeese and wife Jennifer; Christine Steppe and husband Charles, King George, VA; Calvin Preston DeWeese, Georgia; two grandsons, Charles Steppe, Jr. and wife Jill, King George, VA; Thomas William Steppe, Williamsburg, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Joseph Ashby and the Reverend Vinton Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow at Copper Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
