Lorraine Florence Price of Copper Hill, VA passed away December 30, 2020. Born July 18,1930 in Floyd County she made that her home throughout her life. Left to mourn her memory -son Harvey Price (Robin) of Copper Hill, VA 24079. A sister Augustine Saunders of Willis, VA. A sister-in-law Mable Stuart of Copper Hill, VA. And a host of nieces and nephews Preceded in death by her parents John Roy and Maude Stuart, her husband Harvey Price, her daughter Detra Price, and 2 siblings Roy J Stuart and Lellia McDaniel. Lorraine loved sharing the good news with her neighbors, hosting meals, creating crafts, she especially loved attending craft shows with her daughter Detra and watching her son Harvey drag race. She will be greatly missed. The family will meet with friends at a brief graveside service to be held at 2 pm at Restvale Cemetery located on hwy. 221 in Copper Hill, on Saturday January 2, 2021. The family is being served by Gardner Funeral Home.

Augustine, H, and Family, I am so sad to hear of Lorraine's passing.Yet, I can rejoice in her beautiful life. As a child, I adored her and was always delighted to see her at the store. She had the most delightful smile and contagious laugh. My prayers are with you. What an amazing woman!I hope the joy she brought to others will be of comfort to you at this time.

Harvey, When I was growing up on Camp Five Road, I heard my mom speak of your mother and her family many times. Just a few years ago, I was sitting next to your mom in a doctor's office and we shared about the family connections. I would like to express my deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. Growing up around Harvey and Lorraine as they traded with us at the store, we grew to know them as true family and loving friends. Time slips by way to quickly. May fond memories help ease your heart.
