Sadie Lue Peters

Sadie Peters, beloved sister, aunt, and great-great-aunt passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021, in Sumpter County, Florida. She was a graduate of Check High School in Floyd County, Virginia. Sadie was a retired inspector for the textile industry and retired to Copper Hill. For many winters she lived in Fort Pierce, Florida, and attended Parkview Baptist Church where she made many friends. She lived the last seven years in Ocala, Florida. Mrs. Peters was proceeded in death by her parents Isaac Eldridge and Susie Wilson Craighead and her husband Jessie Huie Peters. She is survived by her sisters, Ina Walters of Salem and Rheba Cooper of Ocala, Florida. Niece Kathy (Larry) Popeil, Ocala Florida, Nephews, Gary (Cindy) Cooper, Fort Pierce, Florida, Robert ( Lisa) Craighead, Richard (Annette) Craighead, Neil Walters as well as many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at 1 PM at the Vest Cemetery 432 Cypress Dr. SE Floyd, Virginia.
