Jim Allen Owens

Jim Allen Owens, 50, of Floyd, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Don Owens Sr.; along with his grandparents. Jim is survived by his mother, Purely Owens; 3 brothers, Don Owens Jr., Curtis Owens, Robert Owens; one sister, Linda Huffman; sister in-laws, Delilah Owens, Melissa Owens; brother in law, Joe Huffman; nephews Joe Huffman Jr., Marcus Owens; nieces, Angela Owens, Cassi Owens, Morgan Owens, and Baleigh Owens. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the Church Hall at 3304 Pilot Rd, Riner, VA 24149 with Pastor Tony Johnson officiating. The service will start at 3pm with a visitation prior from 1pm-3pm.

Jimmy will be missed. Always was helping someone. Thoughts & prayers to Purley and the rest of the family.

I grew up with Jim. So many memories with him and his family. He even helped my dad on the farm. I am so saddened by his passing and my dad is too. The Muse family extends our deepest condolences and we ate here for you for whatever you may need. God Bless you all.
