Robert Leigh Middleton

Robert (Bob) Leigh Middleton, age 86, passed away on March 11, 2021 peacefully in his home in Willis, Virginia. Bob is survived by his wife Yara Middleton. He had 3 children: Stephanie Bajor (Bruce), Steven Middleton (Laurie), and Robin Musial (Bruce). There are 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Bob grew up in Culver, Indiana and attended Purdue University and worked as a civil engineer. His passion was to travel around the United States and Canada and to see our beautiful country and neighbor country, especially the National Park. He loved history and good food so traveling helped. Him accomplish his passions and Yara went with him every step of the way. His love of the mountains.brought him from the Midwest to Virginia 28 year ago and his wood-working skills helped him to build a home which he designed. He will be missed by his family and many with his easy smile and jolly laugh.
