Merlin Wayne Keith

Merlin Wayne Keith entered into his heavenly home on September 1, 2022. He was born on May 15, 1938, to George and Dorothy Harman Keith. Wayne has always enjoyed playing music and singing with friends and family. He was a member of Fairview Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Racene Compton Keith; one sister, Corine Sowers; one son , Garrett Keith (Venda); two daughters, Brenda Creed, Dorothy Bolt (Harold); five grandchildren, Melissa Salyer (Shannon), Patrick Bolt (Shea), Jimmy Creed, Derrike Keith (Brittney), Janeé Fizer (Jake); eight great grandchildren, Sharla Salyer, Blake Salyer, Landen Bolt, Raylan Bolt, Caden Keith, Avery Fizer, Haisley Fizer, Emberlynn Fizer; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday September 4, 2022, at 3PM at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Pratt officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery. There will be a visitation Sunday September 4, 2022, from 1PM- 3PM.
