Barbara "Jeanie" W. Reed

August 17, 1948 - November 12, 2022

Barbara “Jeanie” W. Reed, 74, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday November 12, 2022, surrounded by her family and friends. She was the daughter of Payton Hagen Williams and Ethel Harmon Williams of Floyd. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald W. Reed; son, Donald Scott Reed; daughter, Tammy Reed Waters; granddaughters, Peyton Haley Waters, Scheinen Hagan Tomlinson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 19, 2022, at 2pm, at Gardner Funeral Home in Floyd.

I am so saddened & very sorry for the passing of Barbara. We had not seen each other for quite awhile & for that it really bothers me. She was a good friend & a really great & fun person to be around. We had So Many Good Times back when she had her embroidery shop in Salem, VA. She was awesome in her business & everyone loved her & her work. It was a real loss for Salem losing her store. I know she continued @ home, but, wasn’t the same. I especially loved when Ms Ethel would come down from Floyd & we had the Best Time.. I send my Prayers & Condolences to the Family @ this sad time. She will really be missed by all who knew her. God Really Gained An Angel…

I very sad to hear the passing of my cousin did'nt know that she was ill.I think the last time I saw her was at our Uncle Fred Harmon's funeral.so sorry for the Family of Barbara and praying for you
