Nancy Elizabeth Livesay

September 10, 1940 - November 27, 2023

Nancy Elizabeth Livesay, 83, of Floyd, went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Ted C. Livesay, Jr.; parents: Lewis and Ruth Brogan, brother: Louie Brogan.

She is survived by two daughters: June Allen (Bob), Louise Morris (Phillip); grandchildren: Thomas Snook, Johnny Snook, Chelsea Snook, Joseph Morris, Crystal Jacko; great grandchildren: Brooklyn Morris, Gabriel Snook, Emma Jacko; Siblings: Michael Brogan, Patricia Dudley, Hazel Mason.

A graveside service will be held at Jacksonville Cemetery at 11:00 AM Thursday November 30, 2023 with Pastor Allen Agee officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at New Haven Baptist Church at 12:00 Thursday November 30, 2023.

I am sorry for your loss. She was faithful to the Lord and her church family. She will surely be missed by those who knew her well. It’s never easy letting go but when you know they are in heaven and are no longer suffering, that does bring comfort. May God bring you his comfort and peace during this time and going forward. Nancy was a wonderful friend of mine. She did the greeting cards at Walmart in Christiansburg when I worked there and then I had the pleasure of running into her in Floyd and talking occasionally. Prayers for her family during this sad time. Phillip Owens
