I can only imagine how hard this was to write for a man that deserves a whole book. Geary, you will be greatly missed and have left a void in the county with your passing that cannot be filled. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Geary was a dear friend growing up, we had lots of adventures on the New River, little River, Claytor Lake and the caves and mountains of South Western Virginia. One of our biggest adventures was Charlotte Motor Speedway for August Jam a rock concert second to Woodstock. Though the years did grow between us several years ago while back visiting, we sat on the back porch and remembered the old days. Walked the fields and creek of his land and enjoyed the days of our youth again. You’ll be missed ole Friend. Prayers and blessings for his family.

I am so saddened to hear of Geary's passing. Geary was a kind soul. I knew him to be generous and giving with his knowledge and talents, always positive and encouraging to his friends, well respected. I know there are no words I can offer that will help with your loss other than to let you know others do understand. My prayer is for our Heavenly Father to comfort you all, his family and many friends, and watch over you during this difficult time and give you peace. May God bless you all.

Chuck and I just can't believe that Geary is gone. Geary was such a wonderful person. I always enjoyed talking to Geary. He had a heart of gold, always asking about everyone else. We loved going to Geary and Leda's house for picnics. Such a great time with great people. Our hearts are broken for Leda, Geary's boys, and the whole family. May God be with you all through this difficult time. Prayers for everyone.
