Phyllis Elizabeth Haidle

March 31, 1924 - February 25, 2012

Phyllis Elizabeth Haidle, nee Fox, 87, of Willis, and formerly of the Chicago suburbs, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012, after a sudden illness. Phyllis was born on March 31, 1924 in Oak Park, IL, the eldest of three children, to Edmund and Phyllis (Bloxbara) Fox. She married Ralph Haidle on March 7, 1947. Survivors include one sister, Grace (Frank) Elwell; daughters, Lois (Thomas) Lundgren and Linda (Richard) Telling; son, David (Kathleen) Haidle; 12 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Ralph, brother, David (Carol) Fox, son, Timothy (Bonnie) Haidle, and infant daughter, Louise Elise. Above all, Phyllis lived for her family, faith, and friends. A graveside burial will be on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Telling Cemetery at 5 p.m. with a memorial service following at 6:30 p.m. at Covenant Church of Willis to celebrate her life.
