I am heart broken to hear that this dear lady has passed away. A friend and I stopped by to see her a year ago last summer, but she was not home, and no car was parked in her driveway. It had been in my mind that she and Frances Griffin might come here for a special lunch this summer. Too late! And I have a precious afghan that Frances crocheted for me that I shall always treasure. At my request, she also shared a recipe, a treat that my mother-in-law and I enjoyed at her house when we visited before Helen Collier passed away. After Helen passed away, I gave Frances a special handmade picture that had been done by Helen. I shall always mourn the passing of Frances. She will always remain in my heart. I weep as I write.
