Ralph Marvin Agee Sr.

November 29, 1942 - March 17, 2024

Ralph Marvin Agee, Sr., 81 of Copper Hill, VA entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, March 17, 2024, surrounded by family at his home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Obie Keen Agee, mother, Mabel Hylton Agee, and sister Mary Agee Conner. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis Hurst Agee of Copper Hill, VA; sons, Ralph Agee Jr. (Tamba) of Copper Hill, VA, Pastor Wesley Agee (Sherry) of Skippers, VA, Pastor Allen Agee (Mary), Floyd, VA; daughter Melissa Conner (Randy), Check, VA; twelve grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; and sister, Blanche Agee Compton, Ridgeway, VA.    

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd, VA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 20 at 11 a.m. at New Haven Baptist Church, 1277 New Haven Rd SE, Floyd, VA. Officiating will be sons Pastor Allen Agee, Pastor Wesley Agee and Ralph Agee, Jr.  Interment will follow at Restvale Cemetery, 7529 Floyd Hwy, Copper Hill, VA. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Ralph M. Agee, Sr.’s memory to: Moran Cemetery Fund, c/o Betty Moran, 213 Sumpter Circle NE, Floyd, VA 24091.

Sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Ralph from our Check HS days and after graduation working in Stanleytown. He will be missed. Roger
