I am so saddened to learn of Brenda's passing. I was thinking of her just the other day and wondered how she was doing. She was so sweet and warm when I joined the Floyd County Retired Teachers' Association many years ago. I was so sorry when she was unable to attend further meetings. We missed her so much. She contributed so much to Floyd County education, and I'm sure she will long be remembered by her former colleagues and students. May God bless each of her family members during the days and weeks to come.

The line in the obituary about “everyone always loved being around her” is so true. She was such a sweet person she was a joy to know. Grateful to have met her and look forward to seeing her again someday in Heaven.

Dearest family, I am sorry for your loss. Brenda was such a a loving, and kind person. I remember being with her when I was growing up, with all the Alderman sisters, at Willis Methodist Church. She was very beautiful , and I loved hearing her sing with her family. She and Josephine even tried to teach me to sing! She will be greatly missed in this world. My prayers are with you.
