William Harley Conner

September 18, 1959 - April 20, 2024

William Harley Conner, 64, of Salem, formally of Copper Hill, passed away on Saturday April 20, 2024, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. Alvin and Doris Agee Conner; sister, Linda Jefferson. 

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Jones Conner; sons, Travis Conner, Benjamin Conner; daughter, Emily Conner; 3 Grandsons, Zachariah, Zymeer, Zakhari; siblings, Billy Conner, Betty Green, Mary Beckner, Carol Atkins; many special nieces and nephews; along with special brothers-in-law, Randy Jones and Wade Tallant.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2024, at 11AM at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Triplett officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Church Cemetery (Head of the River). The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.

Mr Willy was my father in law had a heart of gold , one of a kind . He was like a father to me. He will forever be in my heart ❤️

Sending sincerest sympathy to Mr. Conner's family! I saw the obit and wondred if he was actually kin to us (grandmother). My grandmother(Clara Faulkner) was a Conner from Floyd and has been gone many years now. Some of her siblings included Alvin, Elvin, Annie, Albert. Shi was his grandparents. ..just curious. ..also sending prayers that our Wonderful Saviour Jesus Christ will help to comfort you at this time!
