Loretta Irene Moran

Loretta Irene Moran,90 of Copper Hill Va, passed away on July 8, 2024, after fighting a hard battle with dementia for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Rosa Stump, her husband of 48 years, James Moran, two brothers Newton and Ralph Stump and a sister, Syliva Yopp.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Frank and Maxine Moran, Terry and Dreama Moran, and Betty Moran and Neil Wray all of Copper Hill.
She had 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Also, several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her fur babies, Blackie, Molly and April who were her life.
The family wishes to thank all her caregivers who have been with her and took care of her over the past year, for your loving kindness and understanding. We thank you, Leslie Wray, Jamie and Donald Wray, Donna Yopp, Kara Burnley, Marylin Nichols. From Companion Home Care: Sondra Spence, Connie Onufrak, and Michelle Belton. And all the ones from Carilion Hospice care.
Services will be as follows; visitation on Thursday July 11, 2024, 6:00 -8:00PM. Funeral service will be on Friday July 12, 2024, at 2:00PM at Gardner Funeral home. Interment will follow in Restvale Cemetery.
