Ray W. Wade Jr., 62, of Woolwine, passed away on Tuesday March 4, 2025. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Ray Edward Wade. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan Wade; Children Terri Mathena (Jason), William Wade and fiancé Elinor Ault; grandchildren, Caleb Mathena, Sadie Mathena; parents, Ray Wade Sr. and R. Ann Wade; Siblings; Shirley Worley (Donald), Brenda Johnson (Jim), Judy Cooper, Brian Wade, Rhonda Schenk (Joe); Special friends, Roy and Nancy Harris; along with numerous nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 8, 2025 at 1pm at Kermit Quesenberry cemetery in Dugspur, Va with pastor Lester Harrell officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Kermit Quesenberry Cemetery fund in c/o Fay Alger 306 Lovell Rd Hillsville, VA 24343.

I am so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed working with Ray at Auburn Hills Golf Club. He always had a smile on his face and loved to laugh. Prayers for the family.
