Wayne Alfred Carroll

February 06, 1944 - March 11, 2025

Wayne Alfred Carroll, 81, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 11, 2025. He was a long-time employee of Christiansburg Garment Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Izola Carroll and special aunt Eldora Dulaney. Survived by a companion of 60 years: Nancy Wood; Sister: Ina Carroll Martin (Ernest); several cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be Friday March 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Wade officiating. Interment will follow in Sowers Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.

Sorry for y’all’s loss and sending condolences. I knew Wayne for many years as well as Nancy Wood and they were great friends on mine and my family and going to miss Wayne. I lost in touch with Wayne but I just hope he knows he will be missed be my family and myself and I was thinking about him today I googled him then this showed up then it broke my heart cause I will miss my good friend I had in Wayne. Rest In Heaven Wayne Until We Meet Again!!
