David Daniel Link

May 16, 1944 - April 18, 2025

David Daniel Link, 80, of Check, went to be with the Lord on Friday April 18, 2025. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a truck driver for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife: Darlene Link; one son: Jamie Link; one grandson: Billy Mullins; parents: Joe and Rheba Link and several brothers and a sister. He is survived by his children: Wesley Link (Donna), Roby McDowell (Crystal), Robin Brown, Joseph Link (Laurie), Stephen Link (Stephanie), Bo Link, Melissa Mullins. 21 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; four sisters: Betty Reynolds, Mary Richardson, Brenda Hungate (Carl), Joyce Whitaker (Chris); one brother: Allen Link. Funeral services will be Wednesday April 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Gardner Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Cox and Pastor Richard Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow in Link Cemetery, Check, VA. The family will receive friends Tuesday April 22, 2025, at Gardner Funeral Home from 5PM until 7 PM.

We were very sorry to learn of David's passing. Have not seen him for quite awhile but have fond memories of him and Laura.
