Ethelene Hale Duncan, 86, of Floyd, Went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 21, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy & Almeda Hale; brothers, Lee Hale, George Hale; son, Leonard (Jr) Cox; daughter, Virginia Benton; son-in-law, Richie Benton.

Ethelene very much loved her church family at pleasant valley and was an active member serving as Sunday School secretary for many years, participating in women’s bible study, and singing in The choir. Ethelene loved her flowers and mowing the lawn, which she called “her therapy”. We are comforted in knowing that Ethelene is in Heaven with Jesus Christ singing his praises.

Sheila, So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She made the best Rhubard Pie's. For many years, she and your dad would visit my parents, and your mom would bring them a pie. They enjoyed the pie and visits so much.
