James Thomas Cromer Jr.

January 13, 1963 - January 29, 2026

James Thomas Cromer Jr. passed into the arms of our Lord and Savior after a courageous and prolonged battle with cancer at his Floyd County home. James was an avid woodsman, forager, CB/Radio enthusiast. He was preceded in passing by his only son- Jeremy Thomas Cromer and Mother- Reba Ann 'Collins' Cromer. Survived by his daughters Rebecca Lynn 'Cromer' Bessell, and Megan Ann Cromer, many grandchildren, his father James Thomas Cromer SR, and brother Joseph Eugene Cromer. While there will be no service we ask you to lift him and his family up into your prayers as a celebration of the life lived.

Hi Tommy and Joe - sorry to hear about Jr. it is always hard to lose a loved one. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. We all need to get together sometime. Take care. Miss the good old times on mountain 🙂

While we walk this life our only promise is that nothing can stay, love, joy, death, pain, they’re all fleeting. When the mortality of the people that hold your memories dear comes to pass. All that is left is the impression that we leave on the next generation. I hope you knew, the impact you had on the hearts of those to come. The sharp mind, and rebellious attitude you engraved in me, the wealth of a job well done, and the beauty that the earth gifts us. You taught me to see those things. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Jr. We go way back in the late seventies. Oh them good old days we all a run around together had a good time. My memories I will keep to my heart rest rest in peace my friend
